While trying to get healthy and clear skin, we encounter a lot of upcoming skin problems during our skincare journey. From more acne to trying to clear dark spots and even treating hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition in which there is an irregular darkening of the skin due to the overproduction of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin and hair color). Also referred to as “uneven skin tone", hyperpigmentation is caused when your skin is constantly exposed to Sunlight(UVR) and pollution. Sometimes, hormones also cause uneven skin tone.
With MixxLab you can deal with hyperpigmentation and get an even skin tone. We have the very best product to treat hyperpigmentation.
Our Arbutin 4% Brightening & Rejuvenating Essence is a golden formula made up of % α-Arbutin and 3% β-Arbutin. Arbutin is an all-natural substance derived from fruit and berries. It’s been scientifically proven to diminish hyperpigmentation in the skin by effectively reducing melanin content. It works to correct and fade sun damage, age spots, melasma, and uneven skin tone, for a youthful and flawless complexion. Arbutin also brightens the complexion and makes your skin look healthier and more vibrant. It is less aggressive than hydroquinone which is synthetic and also causes damage to the skin if not used properly. Arbutin is natural and more lot safer than hydroquinone, and it is also known to treat uneven skin tone perfectly. Regular use of the Arbutin 4% Brightening & Rejuvenating Essence will improve skin tone thanks to its antioxidant properties, and dramatically reduce the need for concealers and full-coverage foundations.
Before applying Arbutin, work up to it starting with a patch test to be sure if it’s suitable for your skin. Apply the Arbutin product to small areas of your skin. If there is no irritation within 24hours you’re good to go. Then you can start to apply a dime-sized amount of the product on your face after cleansing.
The Arbutin product can be applied directly on affected areas (as a spot treatment) or on your whole face, avoiding your eyes and mouth. Besides your face, you can apply the Arbutin product to other parts of your body that can be affected by hyperpigmentation, such as your hands and chest.
Arbutin is safe for daily use, combining with other products, and for all skin types. Other skin products you can use with Arbutin are moisturizers and sunscreen/SPF. Hydrate your skin with a moisturizer after applying the Arbutin product. If you moisturize just immediately, the Arbutin won’t get enough chance to seep into your skin. Arbutin can make you more prone to sunburn and since there is not enough melanin to protect your skin from sunburn (due to the Arbutin) you should wear sunscreen more often to prevent sun spots and age spots which we do not want. Spend less time and the sun and apply sunscreen daily.
